Positioning Scheme for Visually Impaired and Blind Passengers in Metro Station Based on Ultra-wideband Technology

为确保视觉障碍人士(以下简称“盲障人士”)在地铁站内行走的安全,从盲障人士站内乘车的定位需求出发,对比各类定位技术后确定采用UWB(超宽带)技术,研究基于UWB技术的地铁车站盲障人士定位方案。对多种UWB技术定位算法的优缺点进行对比,确定采用TWTOF(双向飞行时间测距)法和TDOA(到达时间差)法作为UWB技术的定位算法,并在此基础上开展基站布设间距测试和信号刷新频率测试。测试结果表明:在保证05 m的定位精度条件下,最小定位单元的基站布设需保持12 m的横向间距和10 m的纵向间距;信号刷新频率设置为1 Hz较为适宜。
Abstracts:
In order to ensure the safety of visually impaired and blind passengers (hereinafter referred to as ′the blind passengers′) walking in the metro station, based on their position-ing needs of the blind passengers in the metro station, UWB (ultra-wideband) technology is selected after comparing various positioning technologies, and the positioning scheme for the blind passengers in metro station based on UWB technology is studied. The advantages and disadvantages of various positioning algorithms of UWB technology are compared, and TW-TOF (two-way time-of-flight ranging) method and TDOA (time difference of arrival) method are used as positioning algorithms of UWB technology. On this basis, the base station spacing test and signal refresh frequency test are carried out. The test results show that the base station layout of the minimum positioning unit should keep 12 m transverse spacing and 10 m longitudinal spacing under the condition of ensuring 0.5 m positioning accuracy. It is appropriate to set the signal refresh frequency as 1 Hz.
