Analysis of Urban Rail Transit Station Post-station Turn-back Capacity under Unmanned Automatic Turnback Mode

目的:为压缩城市轨道交通高峰期行车间隔,提升运输服务水平,需要对ATB(无人自动折返)模式下城市轨道交通车站站后折返能力进行研究。方法:以采用ATB模式折返为切入点,以厦门地铁2号线五缘湾站为例,基于到发列车行车间隔均衡的理想情况,利用时序模型,将折返作业拆分为单项作业,根据作业的前后顺序及限制条件将其绘制在时序图上,计算分析相邻两列车的到达间隔、进出折返线间隔及发车间隔等,对比该折返方式下的最小折返间隔及其折返能力,并结合实际折返作业过程中受到信号系统排列进路时机的影响,分析限制折返能力的因素,得到终到站到达列车间隔对应的车站站后折返方式。结果及结论:在采用站后ATB模式折返时,站后单线折返的最小折返间隔为114 s,站后双线折返的最小折返间隔为112 s;受到信号排列进路时机的影响,到达列车行车间隔为158~213 s时,采用站后单渡线折返;到达列车行车间隔为114~158 s或大于213 s时,可以采用两种折返方式折返。
Abstracts:
Objective: To compress peak-hour train interval time and enhance transportation service level in urban rail transit, it is essential to study the post-station turn-back capacity of urban rail transit station under ATB (unmanned automatic turn-back) mode. Method: Taking the adoption of ATB mode for turn-back as a starting point in the case of Xiamen Metro Line 2 Wuyuanwan Station, and according to the ideal scenario based on balanced train interval time for arriving and departing trains, a temporal-sequence model is utilized to break down the turn-back process into individual operations,which are then depicted on a timeline diagram based on their sequence and constraints. Calculations are conducted to analyze intervals between adjacent arriving trains, turn-back track entry/exit interval, and departure interval. By comparing the minimum turn-back interval and its turn-back capacity under this mode, and considering the impact of signaling system arrangement entry timing during actual turn-back operation process, factors limiting the turn-back capacity are analyzed and the post-station turn-back mode corresponding to train arrival intervals at the terminal station is identified. Result & Conclusion: When using post-station ATB mode, the minimum post-station turn-back interval time for single-track is 114 s, while for double-track, it is 112 s. Considering the impact of signaling arrangement entry timing, when the train arrival interval is between 158 to 213 seconds, the post-station single-crossover turn-back is recommended. When the train arrival interval is between 114 to 158 seconds or exceeds 213 seconds, either of the two turn-back modes can be adopted for turn-back operations.
