Abstract: According to the particular operating environments of straddle monorail system, the hazard elements in the system during operation are identified and summarized. The working conditions like fault mode, passenger rescue and evacuation, vehicle rescue and so on are simulated, a systematic argumentation and analysis is conducted. Finally, suggestions on the safety measures of straddle monorail transit are proposed.
