Abstract: Smart Metro represents the development direction of urban rail transit and it has strategic significance for constructing an efficient and high quality urban public transport system. However, both domestic and international theories and practices on Smart Metro construction are not developed well enough for reference at the moment. Based on the accumulation of experience in business over many years and the exploratory research in Smart Metro in recent years, Shanghai Metro has explicated the construction path and implementation method for Smart Metro construction, and has formed a set of construction management measures.
