Abstract: Compared with manned operation, the application of train control and management system (TCMS) in the unattended train operation (UTO) is more complicated. In this paper, the functions and architecture of TCMS are introduced, then the TCMS in UTO is compared with the manned train operation, the control scheme of TCMS in UTO is analyzed in detail. Since the key of TCMS application depends on its reliability and stability, more attention should be focused on the self-healing ability, the intelligent data processing and analysis capability of TCMS.
