Abstract:
Whether the facilities at urban rail transit connection stations are complete and reasonable will affect directly both the operational service level of urban rail transit and the passenger travel demands. Urban rail transit construction often focuses on the line itself, lacking the consideration of traffic connections of stations along the line. Taking Shanghai rail transit Line 15 in Baoshan District as an example, the ideas and principle of integrative traffic connection of urban rail transit stations are elaborated, suggestions for the layout of traffic connection facilities according to functional orientations and transportation demand of each station on Line 15 in Baoshan section are put forward.
