Abstract: With the construction of regional express railway, many forms of related train control systems emerged. Being a part in the traffic safety control system, the selection of train control system often becomes the focus of controversy in engineering construction. Through a comparative analysis of the composition, function and life cost of train control system, some main factors that influence the type selection of the system are analyzed, in order to meet the operational requirements of regional express railway, and a train control system scheme suitable for the future development of regional express railway is proposed.
