Abstract: With the outbreak of COVID-19, the epidemic prevention and control of urban public transport system is facing severe test. As the backbone of urban public transport, urban rail transit is an important part in the epidemic prevention and control system, and faces the challenges of heavy task and great pressure at the same time. According to the impact of COVID-19 prevention and control on urban rail transit, the challenges faced by Wuhan metro during the period of shutdown and the early days of resuming operation after the outbreak of COVID-19, passenger management measures at different stages are analyzed, improvements on the deficiencies in current passenger transport measures are put forward.
