Abstract:
In TramWave ground power supply system, the tram energy is provided by the interaction between current collector and ferromagnetic strip within the ground power supply module. When the tram is extracting the electric power, the friction between the brush of current collector and the metal plate on the ground power supply module surface will lead to serious material loss. In order to reduce the material wear and improve the performance of ground power supply system, a single strip contact belt is proposed to replace the existing double-strip contact belt structure, and finite element calculation is used to make a comparative analysis. The simulation results show that the single-strip contact zone has better performance than the double-strip contact zone, and can produce greater adsorption force when the tram is in deviation condition.
