Abstract: Prediction analysis and comparison analysis of capacity and demand of Shanghai rail transit network in 2035 are carried out,to map out the Shanghai rail transit sections with potential capacity shortage problem in the future. Based on the prediction of the interstation OD and surrounding conditions of these sections with potential capacity shortage in the future,research for countermeasures is conducted targeting the Shanghai rail transit network future capacity shortage sections,and suggestions for relevant countermeasures are put forward. The research results can provide reference for determining the response plan for Shanghai rail transit network future capacity shortage sections.
