Abstract: Metro train stability test is commonly adopted to evaluate the new vehicle performance,an important part of the new vehicle type test. However,whether the train stability test should be carried out regularly in operation stage is not regulated yet. Guangzhou Metro tries out the systematic maintenance based on condition and health management,which includes train stability test in operation stage before and after maintenance. Based on the train stability test in operation stage,combined with the train stability status comparison before and after different maintenance work such as wheelset lathing,suspension system replacement,initial effect on the operation and maintenance of the key lines of Guangzhou Metro by standardizing train stability test is displayed.
