Abstract: Based on electromagnetic induction principle and RFID technology,Automatic Equipment Identification（AEI）is an important infrastructure for automatically identifying train numbers and train running directions. Based on the actual situation of Chengdu Metro Line 5 project,in order to meet the informatization and automatic operation requirements of the Metro Vehicle Base Integrated Automation System（MDIAS）,reasonable installation location of the main AEI equipment is analyzed and identified. Research results can provide technical reference for the installation and application of AEI equipment in similar metro depot.
