Abstract: Based on the current regulations and fire evacuation standards, the fire prevention of equipment management room on platform level of urban rail transit underground station is discussed. It is proposed that concrete firewall should be set for platform level equipment room on the outer side of the walkway along track area,and the walkway outside the platform level equipment and management room should be included in the equipment area fire compartment as evacuation walkway of fire protection measures. The smoke control and smoke exhaust measures in excavation walkway are introduced,which can successfully solve the disputes over fire compartment in the equipment area on platform level.
