Abstract: Train turn\|back procedure is the key factor influencing train turn\|back ability. Taking the conventional train control system based on CBTC as the comparative object, evident advantages of train control system based on train\|to\|train communication are expounded. Considering real station circumstances, under turn\|back ahead of station and behind of station modes, the turn\|back performance of two different train control systems are simulated and calculated. The results show that train control system based on train\|to\|train communication demonstrates evident advantages in turn\|back performance.
