Abstract:
The characteristics of urban rail transit Fully Automatic Operation (FAO) system is introduced. By analyzing the operational requirements of FAO and considering operation goals and orientation of Suzhou Rail Transit FAO line, the differences between FAO management mode and conventional manual operation of Suzhou Rail Transit Line 5 are analyzed. The production center structure adjustment, position integration, profession integration, space integration, maintenance integration of both DTO (Driverless Train Operation) and UTO (Unattended Train Operation) driving modes are expounded. Finally, the savings of Suzhou Rail Transit Line 5 in labor cost compared to conventional operation mode is analyzed.
