Abstract:
In some special areas, it is expected to set the negative superelevation of inner rail higher than outer rail from engineering perspective. At present, related standards of setting negative superelevation and vehicle passing safety are not established. By establishing the tram dynamics model and the groove rail top profile model, the tram system operation safety and passenger riding comfort under conditions of train passing through groove rail with different negative superelevation curves at different speeds are studied. Research results show that, when the negative superelevation is within the range of 0 mm to 50 mm, it is safe and stable for the tram to operate at a speed lower than 46.8 km/h; when the negative superelevation is within the range of 0 mm to 20 mm, it is safe and stable for the tram to operate at a speed lower than 54 km/h. Groove rail can be set with negative superelevation curve.
