Abstract:
City-level passenger transport hub areas are strategically important spaces for urban development. Development problems of Shanghai Longyang hub area is analyzed, that obvious shortcomings exist in overall development, transfer efficiency, and radiation efficacy. From the perspective of theoretical foundations and practical cases, it is believed that among the operating laws of network effects, scale effects and system comprehensive effects, positive externalities, bidirectionality, and publicity are significantly reflected in the development of hub areas. It is proposed that under the principle of taking into account the needs of economy, society, environment and culture, relying on the supporting mechanism of system optimization of resource allocation and benefit sharing, Shanghai Longyang hub area development mode of integrated coordination of multi-level transportation nodes and various network systems is formed.
