Abstract:
The passenger travel time is firstly analyzed under the fast and slow train running organization mode, a model of minimum passenger travel time is established. Then, the genetic algorithm is used to solve the model through MATLAB program, and the calculation result is verified by the passenger flow data of Shanghai metro Line 16. The result shows that total passenger travel time after adopting the fast and slow train mode is 25 642 hours, 1 054 hours less than before adopting the operation mode, saving 3.9% of the travel time. Obviously, the optimized fast and slow train mode can save passenger travel time to some extent compared with the original train stop plan, and provide convenience for passengers.
