Abstract: Based on the layout requirements of fully automatic driverless vehicle depot, Suzhou rail transit Line 7 is taken as the engineering background, the scheme of reconstruction and expansion of the existing vehicle depot into a driverless vehicle depot is studied, the general layout ideas and schemes of driverless vehicle depot are explored, and the design points of transforming the existing vehicle depot is summarized. The research shows that the driverless vehicle depot design and three switch rail design schemes in the depot can effectively guarantee the safe and efficient operation of fully automatic driverless vehicle, maximize the intensive use of land resources at the same time.
