Abstract: Zhengzhou Metro has carried out scientific research on the application of 5G technology from two aspects: one is to build a 5G-based on-board log transmission system; the other is to establish a 5G-based CCTV (video surveillance) vehicle-wayside dump system. By analyzing from the perspective of urban rail transit 5G transmission business demand, entry point and necessity of 5G application are studied. Scheme design of on-board log transmission system and CCTV vehicle-wayside dump system with signaling system accessing 5G network is introduced. Relevant tests are carried out, and deployment scheme based on 5G network is given.
