Abstract:
In urban rail transit system, the main bottleneck restricting the capacity improvement of a single line is the turnback capacity of turnback station. The train turnback capacity of Urumqi Rail Transit Line 1 is analyzed to realize the long-term target of 1 million passenger rides. Based on the graphic method, the turnback time and turnback capacity of the four turnback modes are analyzed and calculated: single cross turnback before the station, single cross turnback after the station, alternating turnback before and after the station, and double crossover alternating turnback after the station. The line capacity is calculated and analyzed according to different turnback capacity. From the perspective of actual operation organization, the selection of turnback mode under different operation interval conditions is given.
