Abstract: The types and application of regenerative braking energy absorption devices in metro are introduced. The characteristics of various regenerative braking energy absorption devices are compared and analyzed. The specific application of regenerative braking energy absorption device installed on Suzhou Metro Line 2 and Line 4 is expounded. The practical application shows that the medium voltage inverter feedback regenerative braking energy absorption device operates stably and has remarkable energy-saving effect.
