Abstract: From the perspective of communication safety requirement and multi-business communication, the vehicle-wayside wireless communication business requirement is discussed. The development and evolution history of communication technology is summarized. The major vehicle-wayside wireless communication technology applied in urban rail transit field is expounded, and the future application direction and challenges are further promoted. The application and challenge in functionality safety and information safety integration is emphatically discussed.
