Abstract: The relationship between Wuchang bank relief project of Rail-cum-Road Yangtze River Cross Tunnel in Wuhan and Metro Line 5 and Line 7 is briefly introduced. Considering the engineering site and geological conditions, the spatial relationship between the rail-cum-road tunnel and metro station and interval, as well as the treatment of the structure between tunnel and metro are exponded. The key design points of Wuhan Rail-cum-Road Yangtze River Cross Tunnel in the tunnel extra deep overburden soil layer section, and in metro shield structure interval adjacent to tunnel section are put forward, in order to solve technical problems in joint construction of the tunnel with metro stations and intervals.
