Abstract: Shield tunnel segment damage brings about a series of potential safety hazards. To make accurate assessment of segment structure safety state, based on the segment safety assessment project of a metro interval, the bearing capacity and load effect of segment section and joint under damaged condition are calculated by using the stress analysis and finite element method. The bearing capacity/load effect are checked, and the safety assessment result of segment structure is obtained, providing reference for subsequent segment reinforcement work.
