Abstract: By studying the method and theory of applying urban color in metro public space, the correlation between urban color and metro public space is understood. The composition of urban color is analyzed, the extraction and analysis methods of urban color are proposed. Taking the public space color design application of Chengdu Metro, Wuhan Metro and Xi’an Metro as examples, the application characteristics and expression techniques of urban color in metro public space are explored from three different angles of point, line and plane.
