Abstract:
Pantograph carbon strip is the key component affecting train operation safety. Aiming at the pantograph carbon strip abnormal wear problem appeared after the launch of Beijing Metro Line 6 west extension (hereinafter refer to as ′Line 6′), the possible causes of Line 6 carbon strip abnormal wear are analyzed from aspects such as carbon strip material properties, slope of catenary stagger value, and pantograph catenary contact pressure. To solve these problems accordingly, effective solutions are given such as regular grinding and carbon strip replacement, choosing carbon strip with low conductivity, adjusting the contact line spacing at the staggered anchor joint, and installing pantograph catenary pressure detection device, so that pantograph catenary matching degree is optimized, achieving the goal of carbon strip abnormal wear reduction.
