Abstract:
Objective: To achieve rapid information sharing of DC traction power supply system, as well as improving reliability of the system and enhancing the interoperability between devices, a crosssubstation networking protection scheme for DC traction power supply system based on GOOSE (generic object oriented substation event) communication is proposed, building upon the conventional approaches. Method: Based on a fiberoptic pointtopoint interlayer networking model, considering system reliability and engineering application convenience, the GOOSE communication technology is employed to replace conventional hardwired connections for the transmission of protection intertripping and interlocking information between substations. Result & Conclusion: Compared to conventional approaches, this scheme extends the functionality of networking protection in DC interval while ensuring the preservation of existing protection features. Test results demonstrate that this scheme achieves reliable protection interlocking and intertripping, featuring higher reliability. It provides a new choice for crosssubstation information transmission in DC traction power supply system.
