Abstract:
Objective: Ensuring the correct turnout position is essential for train safe operation, which is achieved through the detection, evaluation, and relevant information delivery of turnout control circuits. To effectively carry out training activities for practical skills related to switch control circuits for vocational school students and industry personnel, the development of a new PTS (practical training system) for turnout control circuits becomes necessary. Method: Based on enterprise investigation reports and practical teaching experience, with enterprise standard turnout control circuit as foundation, dualmodule hot backup redundant I/O (input/output) controller as bridge and centered on simulation interlocking system, the turnout control circuit PTS is designed. The PTS utilizes dictionary algorithm to collect switch information and drive commands; adopts virtualreality integration method and combines physical equipment with information technology, to establish interlocking relationship for independent turnout control. The system employs soft fault methods to manipulate circuit states and realize functions such as realtime dynamic display of circuit diagrams and comprehensive practice information management. Result & Conclusion: The new turnout control circuit PTS based on dictionary algorithm and virtualreality integration, can monitor turnout positions and states and control turnout actions through an operation interface, with the following features: carrying out practical skill training more efficiently and safely; maintaining the structure and electrical characteristics of turnout control circuits, the standardized procedures for maintenance and repair operation; adapting to hardware changes through flexible software integration, and improving efficiency in engineering construction and subsequent maintenance and upgrades.
