Abstract:
Objective: To effectively control the train departure time sequence in urban rail transit parking lot/depot (hereinafter referred to as ′depot′) and ensure that train departure complies with the outbound schedule, an automatic sequence control method for outbound train departure route is proposed.Method: The technological situation of depot operation is introduced; the setting procedure and module expansion design of the scheme with the above method are introduced; merits of the proposed scheme are summarized.Result & Conclusion: The train departure sequence list can be constructed in two ways: a departure sequence list is formed by single depot, or several departure sequence lists are formed based on the train outbound transfer tracks, with each transfer track corresponding to a departure sequence list. The proposed method supports the two methods when determining whether the preceding train departs: The preceding train has left the parking tracks within the depot but is still operating inside the depot, which is considered as the preceding train having departed. This method is suitable for lines with higher outbound density requirements. The preceding train is considered to have departed only when it has completely left the depot. This method is suitable for lines with lower outbound density requirements. By applying the logic and execution of the proposed control method, effective control over the planned departure sequence of trains can be achieved. The above method has a wide range of applicability, providing generalization and versatility. It can effectively improve the operational efficiency, reliability, and safety of depot departure operations.
