Abstract:
Objective: Railway switch machines often experience poor automatic controller (autocontroller) node contacts, but it is difficult to fully simulate such faults in practical training. To tackle this problem, a switch machine simulation autocontroller based on virtualphysical combination is designed to simulate scenarios with poor contact of autocontroller nodes.Method: The characteristics of automatic controller and the overall planning scheme are introduced,together with the design and implementation method of software and hardware systems; tests and improvement are carried out on the designed simulation autocontroller.Result & Conclusion: The pratical training system of the simulation autocontroller has several features: It maintains the same structure, electrical characteristics, and practical training methods of the turnout control circuit. It recreates application scenarios with poor contact of autocontroller nodes in rail transit operating lines. It meets the skill training needs of rail transit company personnel and seamlessly integrates teaching content with industry job requirements. The proposed simulation autocontroller works stably and is highly reliable, meeting requirements of frequent operation exercise in the training system.
