Abstract:
Objective: In order to meet the requirements of various professional teaching and research directions in urban rail transit, a test platform for traction and braking of urban rail transit trains based on 2 motor drive systems is constructed. This platform simulates the real working conditions of traction, coasting, and braking of urban rail transit trains. Method: The composition and basic principles of the test platform are elaborated, including the requirements for technical selection, structural design, and hardware selection of the common DC bus system. Taking the train regenerative braking test as an example, the application of LabVIEW software on this test platform is introduced. Result &Conclusion: Real\|time graphical display of changes in DC bus voltage and current, traction motor speed and torque can be achieved during the test, and basic parameters of the motor can be collected, recorded and graphically displayed. The test platform uses smaller\|sized motors to simulate actual traction motors, which saves laboratory space while achieving intended ideal results. By getting familiar with and using this test platform, students in related urban rail transit professions can deepen their understanding of theoretical knowledge such as train traction, transmission and control technology.
