Abstract:
Objective The high leakage rate of prefabricated stations has attracted widespread attention both within and outside the industry. Improper treatment of this issue may seriously affect the strength, stability, and service lifespan of prefabricated station structure. Therefore, it is urgent to conduct research on waterproofing measures for large component joints in prefabricated stations.
Method Taking the Yingpulu Road Station (a prefabricated station) on Qingdao Metro Line 7 as a case study, the station overview and hydrogeological conditions are briefly introduced. The hydrostatic pressure at different depths of the prefabricated station and the water-resistant capacity of sealing gasket under waterproof failure conditions are theoretically studied, and a formula is derived for the water resistance pressure of sealing gaskets under waterproofing failure conditions. On this basis, a complete set of waterproof measures for joints in the station lining structure are proposed.
Result & Conclusion The surplus value of the sealing gasket water-resistant pressure is defined as the difference between water-resistant pressure of the sealing gasket under waterproofing failure conditions and the maximum value among the original formation hydrostatic pressure, the hydrostatic pressure after excavation, and the hydrostatic pressure after station completion. The proposed waterproofing measure of 'two gaskets, one injection, and one embedding' is successfully applied in the case station, verifying its effectiveness in waterproofing joints of prefabricated stations.
