Abstract:
Objective Under the background of the four-network integration of trunk railways, intercity railways, suburban railways, and urban rail transit, to improve the overall transportation efficiency of the rail transit system, suburban railways should achieve line interconnection between the CTCS (China Train Control System) standard and the CBTC (Communication Based Train Control) standard and support cross-line operation of trains. Therefore, it is necessary to study the cross-line operation technology integrating the CTCS standard and the CBTC standard.
Method The basic principles and methods for on-board equipment to achieve switching between the CTCS standard and the CBTC standard in the co-management zone are introduced. The layout method of wayside equipment in the co-management zone is studied, especially the influence of balise layout on the length of the co-management zone; three key technologies for train control right switching of the onboard equipment compatible with CTCS and CBTC, namely background mode establishment, switching speed control, and control right transfer, are researched; a simulation test environment for onboard equipment supporting cross-line operation of CTCS lines and CBTC lines is built to verify the design method of the co-management zone and the key technologies for on-board equipment standard switching.
Result & Conclusion By adopting the proposed co-management zone design method and the key technologies for onboard equipment standard switching, the safety and reliability of standard switching can be improved.
