Creation of Genius Loci in Urban Rail Transit Architecture from the Perspective of Urban Image

    目的 城市轨道交通建筑是乘客探索城市的媒介,车站建筑空间体验、沿线拓展及站城一体化实践,均是乘客感知城市轨道交通不同层面场所精神的途径。为提升乘客感官和精神层面的需求,有必要对城市轨道交通场所精神营造策略进行探究。
    方法 以诺伯舒兹场所精神为切入点,分析城市轨道交通场所精神研究范畴。微观层面,车站场所精神营造主要侧重标准车站、特殊类车站及建筑环境氛围的设计;中观层面强调打造城市轨道交通微中心;宏观层面探索传承城市文化底蕴,进而提出各层面场所精神营造策略。
    结果及结论 不同层面的城市轨道交通建筑场所精神营造策略各有侧重。微观层面上:标准车站考虑空间尺度差异化、设备设施人性化、乘客需求精细化等做法;特殊类别车站差异化设计采用建筑空间共享化、换乘流线高效化,大客流冲击疏导化等方法;车站建筑环境氛围营造采用风貌突出化、元素地域化、风格意向化措施。中观层面上:对城市公共服务功能用地的比例、开发强度、路网密度、立体慢行网络等内容进行政策性数值化约束,规范化轨交毗邻用地的建设。宏观层面上,应采用规划设计特色化,因城而异鲜明化等策略。

     

    Abstract:
    Objective Urban rail transit architecture serves as a medium for passengers to explore a city. The spatial experience of station architecture, along-line development, and station-city integration practices all serve as pathways for passengers to perceive Genius Loci across different levels of urban rail transit. To elevate the sensory and spiritual needs of passengers, it is necessary to explore Genius Loci creation strategies in urban rail transit.
    Method Taking Christian Norberg-Schulz's Genius Loci as an entry point, the research scope of Genius Loci in urban rail transit is analyzed: at the micro level, focusing on the design of standard stations, special-type stations, and the architectural ambient atmosphere; at the meso level, emphasis is placed on constructing urban rail transit micro-centers; and at the macro level, exploring the inheritance of urban cultural heritage, thereby proposing Genius Loci creation strategies across each level.
    Result & Conclusion  Genius Loci creation strategies in urban rail transit architecture focus differently across levels. At the micro level, standard stations consider spatial scale differentiation, humanized equipment and facilities, and refined passenger needs; special-type stations adopt differentiated design methods such as architectural space sharing, efficient transfer flow lines, and large passenger flow diversion; and the creation of station architectural atmosphere implements measures of prominent style and features, localized elements, and imagable style. At the meso level, policy-based quantitative constraints are imposed on the proportion of urban public service lands, development intensity, road network density, and 3D pedestrian networks to standardize the construction of lands adjacent to urban rail transit. At the macro level, strategies such as distinctive planning and design as well as city-specific differentiation should be adopted.
