Abstract:
[Objective] With the advancement of digitalization, MBD (model-based definition) technology is attracting increasing attention. With the significant advantage of this technology in improving the collaborative efficiency of design and manufacturing, it is aimed to explore integrated development technology for the design, process, and manufacturing of rail transit vehicle equipment based on MBD. [Method] The definition of MBD technology and its application in the aviation manufacturing and rail transit industries are discussed. The brake pipeline of rail transit vehicles is selected as the subject for the integrated development (including the entire process of design, process, and manufacturing). Using the Winchill system as the data management platform and Creo as the 3D design and annotation tool, a brake pipeline simulation software is developed, and an MBD-based integrated development platform is established, encompassing the design, process, manufacturing, and service of brake pipelines, enabling the release and inter-system transmission of design and process data based on 3D models. On this basis, an automated and unmanned MBD-based brake pipeline production line is built, along with a set of product specifications, standards, and workflows. [Result & Conclusion] The integrated development technology for the design, process, and manufacturing of brake pipelines based on MBD achieves the expected goal of collaborative operation over design, process, and manufacturing on a unified system platform under single-source product data management conditions.
