Abstract:
Objective In response to the metro space homogenization and cultural deficiency problems during urbanization, and considering both the unique value of Jiangnan (South of the Yangtze River) culture and the need to expand the functional roles of metro media, it is necessary to systematically construct an innovative expression system for Jiangnan cultural elements in metro spaces, thereby promoting cultural preservation and inheritance, and enhancing the space cultural identity and urban image.
Method By analyzing and deconstructing Jiangnan culture and its core symbols, a 'symbol refining-hierarchical framework' translation system is established. A multimodal display system and new materials are employed to achieve an IoT (Internet of Things) upgrade of cultural expression. Cultural scenes are embedded into circulation planning, and functional facilities are localized to build a 'space-behavior-culture' linkage mechanism. By integrating online digital platforms with offline experiential spaces, a multi-dimensional cultural environment is formed.
Result & Conclusion A complete framework encompassing cultural translation, technological presentation, and spatial collaboration is developed, and the effectiveness of digital interactive systems and new materials in enhancing cultural immersion are verified. Based on metro cases from the Jiangnan region, it is confirmed that the coordination mechanism can strengthen cultural perception. A replicable theoretical model and practical paradigm for cultural integration in metro spaces demonstrates that the cultural empowerment can effectively break through the functional limitations of transportation spaces and realize the value enhancement of urban cultural capital.
