Abstract:
Objective In the TACS (train autonomous control system), efficient turnout control during WRC (trackside resource controller) failures is particularly crucial as it directly affects operational performance. To establish a safety barrier in extreme TACS failure scenarios, a TAS local turnout control technology via IBP (integrated backup panel) operations is proposed.
Method Aiming at the turnout control problem of the TACS in extreme failure scenarios, a local control scheme is elaborated based on turnout control principles. The operating principle of the regional control mode switch and functions of related subsystems are emphatically discussed. Application scenarios and switch selection for the turnout single-lock are introduced, and an analysis of abnormal scenarios is conducted.
Result & Conclusion By adding a regional control mode switch on the IBP in the train control room, the proposed technology achieves rapid switching of turnout control authority, enabling station operators to operate turnout safely and efficiently and maintain normal train operation in extreme WRC failure scenarios. This technology has been applied in the TACS of Shanghai Metro Lines 3 and 4, validating its functional practicability.
