Abstract:
To gain an insight into the visual design patterns of metro logos and the visual perception of users, the logos of all metros that are operating or undergoing constructions in 48 cities in China are taken as research samples, the visual composition format of logo is analyzed. Visual experience test is carried out with eye tracker, along with user memory interview of logo and city correspondence, the relationship of visual cognition with the logo color and pattern format is analyzed. Centering elevation of cultural experience of urban metro logos, innovative visual transformation methods are proposed, delivering deeper cultural connotation to metro logos, and integrating metro media to amplify urban culture influence.
