Abstract:
Objective: In order to solve the problems of multiple WSL (water seepage and leakage) points, large water seepage amount and high treatment difficulty in freezing construction link passage, it is necessary to analyze the causes for WSL in freezing construction link passage, and propose treatment measures.Method: By summarizing the distribution of WSL locations, starting from ground freezing and thawing settlement effect, combined with analysis of link passage and adjacent segment maximum settlement in case of insufficient thawing settlement grouting based on relevant cases, it is derived that the joint part of link passage and main tunnel is prone to differential settlement. The stress system transformation process during link passage construction is analyzed, investigation and research is conducted on the working state of main tunnel steel lining segments, the construction quality of tunnel portal position structural details, and the implementation condition of blocking measures for freezing pipes.Result & Conclusion: It is found that the structure additional settlement caused by ground freezing and thawing settlement effect, the stress concentration at the joint part caused by frequent stress system transformation during construction, the subhealthy working state of steel lining segments at the initial service stage, the construction quality defects of tunnel portal position structural details, and the poor blocking measure performance for freezing pipes are all causes of WSL in link passages. Therefore, the principle of ′inspection first, scientific evaluation, internalexternal combination, comprehensive treatment′ for the treatment of link passage WSL diseases is formulated, and a series of measures are proposed, including grouting behind the lining segment based on monitoring and detection results, WSL disease treatment of lining segment grid cavity, WSL disease treatment of lining segment joint, WSL disease treatment of freeze pipe mouth, defect treatment of tunnel face top concrete mass, and WSL disease treatment of the construction joints between tunnel entrance side walls and bottom plate.
