Abstract: In tunnel monitoring activities, manual operation often leads to low accuracy of monitoring data and tedious monitoring works. In order to realize the remote wireless monitoring and intelligence, a remote monitoring method of shield tunnel segment joint angle based on internet of things (IoT) is proposed. Using Arduino and SIM900A module, the angle sensor data is transmitted to the IoT platform via network. Then, through the shield tunnel deformation test, the field test data of the tunnel deformation is successfully transmitted to the IoT platform, and the remote wireless realtime monitoring is realized, verifying the feasibility and practicability of the method.
