Feasibility Analysis of Application of Evaporative Condensation Direct-Expansion Air-Conditioning

  • Taking a selected metro station in Guangdong as example, the preliminary design adopted cooling tower and water-cooled screw unit air-conditioning system. Under the circumstances where the station main structure has completed construction, the ventilation and air\|conditioning system are to be changed to the evaporative condensation direct-expansion air-conditioning system, feasible settings are proposed with respect to the actual situation on site. The investment and operating energy consumption of the two systems are compared and analyzed. The comparison results show that evaporative condensation direct-expansion air-conditioning system saves energy significantly, displaying a promising future for application.
