Optimization of Iron Plate for Ballastless Steel Spring Floating Slab Track

Abstract
In view of the situation that the adjustment amount of single-toe spring bar fastener in part of the ballastless steel spring floating slab track in Wuhan Metro Line 2 is insufficient and the line state cannot meet the design requirements, the design, casting and installation of special-shaped cushion plate are explored. By establishing finite element solid model, modal analysis of different phases is carried out, and stress analysis for the core parts of the modified fastener is testified. Authoritative testing institutions approve that the core indexes such as tensile strength and microstructure meet standard. The improved special-shaped plates have been installed in certain interval for verification. The installation results show that the special-shaped plate serves the expected purpose of adjusting track geometry size, and the service status is stable and reliable.
