Optimization of Incline Angle of Metro Station Entrance Escalator Based on Humanization

Abstract
Inconsistent incline angles of stairs and escalator lead to dislocation problem between stairs and escalator, lowering passenger perception of comfort while causing safety concern. By studying the relationship between stairs and escalator in section with different elevated heights and different incline angles of escalator, the optimized incline angle is proposed to be 27.3°. Practice has shown that it can better solve the dislocation problem between stairs and escalator at the entrance, effectively improving the comfort and safety of escalator usage, making the escalator design more reasonable and humanized.
