Installation Risk and Preventive Measures for Pre-buried Channels in Metro Shield Tunnel Segments

Problems of T-bolt and embedded-channel being not installed in place or T-bolt in use is loosened are analyzed, and measures such as using stop gasket or bigger channel are proposed. Experiments verify that the stop gasket has advantages of simple manufacture process, low cost, and easy installation, which can not only completely solve the problem of T-bolt not in place or loosening in use, but also can improve the stress condition of the embedded-channel at the same time.
