Interference Protection and Network Optimization of LTE-M System on Xi′an Airport Intercity Railway

Abstract
The prototype of the network-level application of the urban rail transit LTE-M system has been formed. Under the premise that 1.8 GHz frequency resources are limited and semi-private, how to achieve signal interference protection between lines has attracted great attention from all parties in urban rail transit construction. In view of the particularity and complexity of the implementation conditions of the LTE-M system project of Xi’an Airport Intercity Railway, taking its practical experience in engineering application as an example, the main interference protection measures and network optimization schemes are elaborated. Theoretical calculations, software simulations, field measurements, system network optimization and other means are comprehensively adopted to enhance the anti-interference ability of the LTE-M system, providing references for frequency planning, engineering design and network optimization of LTE-M system network-level application in other cities.
