Analysis of High-Rise Building Indoor Vibration Caused by Rail Transit

  • In recent years, high-rise building vibration caused by rail transit has become an increasing concern among metro companies, real estate developers and environment protection departments. In order to predict the indoor vibration of a high-rise building in certain development project above metro, empirical method and numerical analysis method are used for calculation, and the prediction values are compared with the standard limitation. The results show that the lower floor level is, the greater indoor vibration caused by train passing becomes. The calculation results of empirical method and numerical analysis method are consistent. The indoor vibration prediction generated by the two methods both meet standard requirements.
