Discussion on Design of Hazardous Waste Storage Facilities in Urban Rail Transit

The operation of urban rail transit not only provides convenient transportation conditions for the public, but also produces certain amount of hazardous waste. There are no specific regulations and requirements in terms of design of hazardous waste storage facilities in urban rail transit engineering in the current design specifications. There are great differences in the storage conditions and storage methods of hazardous waste in vehicle bases and that the storage and management of hazardous waste are widely not standardized. Based on the investigation, identification and analysis of the types, characteristics and output of hazardous waste during the operation period of urban rail transit, suggestions on the design of hazardous waste storage facilities in urban rail transit vehicle base are put forward, providing reference for scientific, refined and standardized management of hazardous waste in urban rail transit.
