Research on Integration of Trackside Control Subsystem in CBTC System

  • The structure characteristics of domestic and worldwide CBTC (Communication-Based Train Control) systems are analyzed. Targeting problems existing in typical CBTC systems, the scheme of trackside control subsystem integration where CBI and ZC adopt same hardware and software is analyzed with emphasis. A MA (movement authority) computation method of trackside control subsystem under this scheme is put forward. In the end, the proposed system is compared with the typical CBTC system in the realization method of functions including opening the signal, closing the signal, manually releasing the route, releasing the protection section and delay detection of the CBI acquisition section occupation-based train position. Results show that the newly proposed CBTC system integrating trackside control subsystems improves system operation efficiency by reducing subsystem interfaces and lowering ZC software and CBI software function coupling.
