Post-evaluation of Signal Overhaul Project of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 1

In order to improve the reliability of the signaling equipment of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 1 and to reduce the failure rate, the signaling equipment in the section from Xinzhuang Station to Shanghai Railway Station on Line 1 has been partially modified during 2015 to 2019. Background of the signaling overhaul project of Line 1 is described, and the problems in the implementation of the life cycle organization and management of the signaling overhaul of Line 1 are summarized. The signaling overhaul project of Line 1 undergoes post-evaluation in three aspects: project schedule management, project risk control, and quality and safety, providing experience and reference for similar existing line signaling overhaul projects.
